SOL Sport
SOL Travel and Tours also hosts SOL Sport, which is a program that offers accessible international summer service trips for club, high school and college athletes, using sport to create connections across cultures and support Sport for Development and Peace organizations worldwide.
Our program leverages the power of sport to foster cross-cultural connections and create lasting social impact for youth in Costa Rica's most vulnerable neighborhoods. By providing an inclusive and engaging environment, we aim to bridge social and cultural divides, promote mutual understanding, and empower young people to become positive change-makers in their communities. Our mission is to build a foundation of service, opportunity and leadership (SOL) that transcends borders and backgrounds, nurturing a generation of leaders who will drive social progress and contribute to a more connected and compassionate world.
I have 5+ years of experience working with programs like this and have traveled as a participant to volunteer with other programs and also have chaperoned and led a number of trips! I have created SOL Sport to enhance the best experiences from these programs while also prioritizing safety and fun for all participants :)
